Remove white photoshop action.
I thought of making this when somebody asked how to remove their white background on the forums, and it took me 5 minutes to write a paragraph about it.

Anyway, here you go! It let's you take away any white background from, for example, lineart. It's geared toward lineart, but there are other uses.

Download and extract; a ReadMe instruction .txt is included.

Included are three separate actions:
The first deletes all white
The second deletes all white, then darkens the lineart
The third removes all white by masking

Have fun. ^_^

The lineart belongs to me, and is from this picture.

Great!!! Thank You!!!

Gah. It wont open the folder. I saved it as a zip AND a winrar, but when i open them, there's nothing there.

You saved it as a .zip? It's uploaded as a .rar, so you should just be able to download it to your desktop, then right click it and select "extrat here", or otherwise.

I think it's because I'm on a mac. I clicked "Save File As" then changed the extension to a .zip, 'cause winRAR is a bugger to open on here. Never mind though, I'll eventually come across a fix to this ;)

Well, there's your problem. xD
Winzip can't open .rar files. Sorry for the inconvenience. :/

This is real helpful. Removing white is a breeze in Gimp, but since I want to start using PS, I was kinda stuck there.

this sig is empty because it's 1 am and i'm not feeling very creative

I don't have an Actions folder :(

You can load the action by just double-clicking it as well; putting it into the actions folder just loads it automatically every time you start Photoshop.
