Jesus Motherfucking OVER TEN GIGABYTES?! I mean depending on distribution of layers and types of layers and compression and whatnot it's probably significantly less than that but by CHRIST man, SIMPLIFY. Resolution can be debated, but you could not have needed that many layers.

I think for an experiment you should try making a finished picture of this quality using a much smaller resolution and only a small handful of layers (that is, less than a dozen. I'd recommend 3, tops.) It's a learning experience being tightly restricted.

As for the picture itself..

There's a lot of high contrast, which I'm pretty sure you were going for, but it gets disorientating when you get to the face. The only facial features clearly distinguishable are the eyes, and if I hadn't squinted I wouldn't have been able to tell that she had a nose and a mouth at all. Also, while the rest of the picture has a lot of harsh contrast and light and shadow, the face has almost none besides a bit around the hair. A face isn't flat, and even in an extremely stylized anime, the head is still somewhat spherical. Don't be afraid to treat the face and head as a solid object.

That said, the concept is nice, and the colours and contrast blend well.
